Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own full-cycle PCB design, fuzing circuitry, and integration with vehicle systems. The role blends hardware bring-up, testing, and collaboration with vehicle development teams for tailored fuzing and effectors.

This hybrid-remote/on-site position in Costa Mesa, CA requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of complex board design, with eligibility for a U.S. Secret clearance and travel up to 25% for testing.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex boards.
• Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current probes, and test automation.
• Familiarity with interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB.
• Knowledge of MCU/CPU/FPGA devices and electronic circuits.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (Altium preferred, Eagle acceptable).
• Experience in signal integrity and power integrity design.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel for testing up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle PCB design from requirements to bring-up and integration.
• Develop fuzing circuitry for missile systems and document interfaces.
• Collaborate with vehicle development teams on tailored fuzing systems.
• Create system interconnect diagrams and wire harness definitions.
• Support other air vehicle subsystems within design constraints.
• Conduct vendor surveys for component sourcing.
• Lead peer design reviews and coordinate testing.
• Assemble and test components in lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Low level firmware development for bring-up and test.
• Lead root cause analysis in field operations.
