Job summary

UEC Electronics LLC (UEC) seeks an Electrical Engineer for a full-time, onsite role in Hanahan, SC. Responsibilities include designing and testing electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, with emphasis on battery storage and energy systems. Requires experience with Altium, MATLAB/Simulink, and C++/Python, plus a strong power system background.

Salary ranges from $100,000 to $128,000 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, life insurance, 15 PTO days, and 10 paid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Experience with battery systems, energy storage, and charging optimization is required.
• Knowledge of ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, modify, install, test, and evaluate electrical, electronic, mechanical, and communication systems.
• Review, analyze, and prepare engineering specifications, standards, and procedures.
• Organize and present technical data in reports and presentations.
• Plan and perform tests and evaluations of systems, equipment, and components.
• Compile, process, and analyze test data results.
• Provide SME on operation, installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
