Job summary

UEC Electronics LLC in Hanahan, SC is seeking an experienced Electrical/Battery Engineer III to design, develop, and test advanced battery and energy storage systems for cutting-edge power solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive technical excellence, and identify opportunities for improvement across a range of power system applications, from vehicle power to energy storage.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in an Electrical Engineer or Electronic Engineer role.
• 3+ years of experience with Batteries and Energy Storage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Direct experience developing, designing, installing, testing, evaluating and operating electrical, electronic, mechanical, or systems, and equipment.
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, developing, preparing, and applying engineering, technical, or maintenance specifications, policies, standards, or procedures; ability to present technical reports.
• U.S. Citizenship (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, install, test, and evaluate electrical, electronic, mechanical, and communications systems.
• Review and analyze engineering specifications, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Organize, analyze, and present technical data in reports and presentations.
• Plan and perform tests and evaluations of systems, equipment, and components.
• Analyze test data results.
• Provide subject matter expertise on operation, installation, modification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment and components.
