Job summary

Siemens Healthineers seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Endovascular Robotics team. You will own electrical hardware and subsystems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance medical technology for endovascular procedures.

Responsibilities include PCBAs, motor control electronics, system bring-up, debugging, ECOs in PLM, and ensuring quality and safety. Travel up to 10%; strong CAD, MATLAB/Simulink, and hardware-C code skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in electrical engineering R&D or product development.
• Experience designing electronic systems for motor control and mixed-signal precision sensing.
• Proficient with electrical CAD tools and circuit design.
• Strong problem-solving skills; MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE or similar.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI, electrical safety, and testing.
• Ability to read and develop hardware-level C code for prototyping.
• Strong communication and collaboration; able to manage technical responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of electrical hardware, PCBAs, and subsystems through the product lifecycle.
• Drive technical activities and ensure integration with mechanical, software, and system architectures.
• Design and develop electronic systems for motor control and precision sensing.
• Debug system-level issues and perform root-cause analysis to improve reliability and safety.
• Manage ECOs in PLM and maintain design documentation and traceability.
• Apply modeling, simulation, and analytical techniques to optimize hardware performance.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders to support project execution.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and established engineering standards.
