Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Endovascular Robotics team in Newton, MA. You will design, develop, integrate, and verify electrical hardware for advanced robotic medical technologies, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across the full product lifecycle.

You will bring hands-on PCB design, hardware bring-up, debugging, and verification skills, while contributing to test fixtures, documentation, and system-level integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of electronic engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, sensor-interface, and actuator-control circuits.
• Experience developing custom PCBAs, including schematic capture, design reviews, bring-up, troubleshooting, and verification.
• Hands-on experience with electrical hardware integration, testing, and debugging.
• Understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, control circuits, wiring, grounding, and electrical interfaces.
• Experience with microcontroller-based prototyping platforms or embedded electronic systems.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of electrical hardware and PCBA assemblies throughout the product lifecycle.
• Perform PCBA bring-up, debugging, hardware integration, and verification.
• Develop test methods, fixtures, and documentation to support hardware verification.
• Design electrical interfaces between sensors, actuators, embedded controllers, communication networks, and software.
• Integrate and troubleshoot low-voltage systems, including control circuits, wiring, grounding, and cabling.
• Support prototype development, laboratory testing, and evaluation of electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, robotics, and systems engineering teams to resolve hardware integration challenges.
• Maintain engineering documentation and ensure QMS compliance.
