Job summary

Siemens Healthineers Endovascular Robotics, Inc. is seeking a Principal Electrical Systems Architect, Medical Devices, to lead the electrical system architecture across all product development stages, from concept through post‑market support, ensuring QMS and regulatory compliance.

You will drive technical decisions and mentor teams while collaborating with suppliers and partners. The role requires deep expertise in power, EMC, and safety, and experience with FDA IDE/MDR submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or related field.
• 15+ years developing Class II/III medical devices.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.
• Experience leading systems through IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2, SPE-3000, and TUV/NRTL certifications.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system architecture across all phases of product development.
• Drive technical decisions and architectural trade studies.
• Apply modeling, simulation, and analytics to guide development.
• Mentor electrical engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Establish best practices in system architecture and verification.
