Siemens Healthineers in Newton, MA seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Endovascular Robotics team. You will design, develop, and verify electrical hardware and PCBA subsystems for advanced robotic medical devices, collaborating with software, mechanical, robotics, and systems teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, at least 2 years of electronic engineering experience, and hands-on PCB and hardware integration skills. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of electronic engineering development.
• Experience with PCBAs during full life cycle.
• Hands-on hardware integration and debugging.
• Experience with microcontroller-based prototyping.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of electrical hardware, PCBA, and subsystems across product lifecycle.
• Perform PCBA bring-up, debugging, and hardware integration to meet specs.
• Develop test methods, fixtures, and documentation for hardware verification.
• Design electrical interfaces connecting sensors, actuators, embedded controllers, networks, and software.
• Integrate and troubleshoot low-voltage systems, including control circuits and wiring.
• Support prototype development, lab testing, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve hardware integration challenges.
• Maintain engineering documentation and ensure QMS compliance.
