Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for an onsite role in Fairport, NY. You will support the full product lifecycle from requirements through production, collaborating with hardware architecture, manufacturing, quality, and program management teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in embedded hardware design, strong analog/digital circuit skills, experience with sensor integration, and familiarity with EMC/safety compliance, and Agile/Scrum workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
7+ years of hardware design experience for embedded systems.
Experience with AI tools.
Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design and power management.
Experience with Modbus RTU/TCP, LoRa, RS-485.
Sensor integration experience (temperature, humidity, pressure, optical).
Schematic capture and PCB layout tools; Altium Designer preferred.
Experience with Agile and Scrum.
Knowledge of EMC and safety compliance and product certification processes.
Firmware-hardware co-design and debugging.

Responsibilities

Support the entire product implementation cycle including requirements, high level and detailed design, PCB layout, implementation, testing, integration, documentation, compliance certification and production introduction.
Collaborate with hardware architecture, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, logistics engineering, product and program management teams as needed.
Support advanced technology initiatives to develop next generation sensors and sensing platforms and improvements in sustaining activities.
