Job summary

Solutions Driven is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for our Rochester, NY site to drive hardware design across imaging and spectroscopy applications. You will design PCBs and overall electrical architecture, prototype and test systems, and mentor junior engineers. The role requires a B.S.

in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of experience (3+ years with an M.S.). Proficiency with Altium, high-speed routing, and embedded C/C++ is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience (or 3+ years with an M.S. or higher degree).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test solutions for imaging, spectral sensing, and color measurement applications.
• Develop prototypes with commercial and applications teams to align customer needs with business strengths.
• Design PCBs and electrical architecture for complex systems.
• Prototype, assemble, test, and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Develop hands-on expertise in hardware, spectroscopy, imaging, and software.
• Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate across disciplines.
