Job summary

Peraton Labs in Port Reading, NJ is seeking an experienced Electrical/Computer Engineer to design, develop, test and implement embedded electronics for prototypes and field-deployable systems. You will work in a small multidisciplinary team, produce schematics, test plans and documentation, and contribute to firmware for data acquisition and signal processing.

The role requires hands-on lab skills, familiarity with KiCad and SPICE, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required with experience levels: BS 12+ years, MS 10+ years, PhD 7+ years.
• Experience generating/reading State Machine, Logic, Flow diagrams.
• Proficient with schematic/PCB tools and analog simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test experimental and production systems.
• Provide engineering oversight of technical staff when needed.
• Hands-on testing of electronics, diagnose failures, perform repairs.
• Develop and review schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, and test plans.
• Develop embedded computing and DSP designs and applications.
• Analyze analog and digital circuitry and interconnectivity.
