SimVentions is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to design rugged electronics for defense applications with emphasis on PCB layout. The role covers concept through production and sustainment, including RF circuit and antenna work as a plus.

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance and US citizenship are required. The candidate will contribute across the full lifecycle, perform modeling, layout, and testing, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver reliable solutions for

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience in rugged defense electronics design and PCB layout.
• Knowledge of RF circuit and antenna design is a plus.
• Ability to contribute across the full product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, development, test, and integration of embedded systems and communications capabilities.
• Develop rapid engineering solutions for emergent threats, turning requirements into designs.
• Design and develop electrical circuits, RF receivers, and compact antennas with minimal guidance.
• Model circuits, perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and fabrication techniques.
• Support integration and testing, including environmental and electromagnetic tests.
• Coordinate with project leads to refine requirements and assess risks.
• Develop prototypes with technicians and assist mechanical teams for integration.
• Create documentation and adhere to configuration management processes.
