Job summary

Lynntech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to develop complete electrical and embedded systems for prototype products across defense, aerospace, and medical markets. You will work from concept through prototype to production-ready designs, leading teams and mentoring engineers.

The role involves designing architectures, PCB layouts, firmware, and verification plans, with opportunities to guide technology transitions and proposal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or Master's with 2+ years.
• Strong fundamentals in electrical, electronics, and software engineering.
• Experience designing system and subsystem architectures for power distribution and embedded systems.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and facilitate design decisions.
• Strong technical writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Resident to meet contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical system architectures and integrate custom electronics with COTS components.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and power-distribution architectures.
• Create firmware implementations for test fixtures and prototypes.
• Lead design engineers in early-stage research and system requirements development.
• Plan and execute verification, validation, and test plans for prototypes.
• Support technology transition, including cost and manufacturability assessments.
