RTX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for the Airborne RF Electronics Design Department in McKinney, Texas. You will develop testability analyses and support BIT/diagnostic requirements to expand product capabilities from module to system level, using MBSE techniques and Cameo for model-driven consistency.

The role requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/masters level STEM background with strong engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with schematics and board layout tools.
• Experience with BIT testing and DVT/Qualification programs.
• Familiarity with model-based diagnostics and MBSE tools.
• Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance (citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain engineering schematics using capture and board layout tools.
• Maintain full requirements traceability across models, schematics, and verification artifacts.
• Support development of Built-In test (BIT) and diagnostic requirements.
• Plan, execute, and support DVT and Qualification testing to validate performance.
• Implement system design and MBSE models to ensure model-driven consistency.
• Design, capture, and optimize fault detection and isolation strategies.
