Job summary
RTX in Plano, TX, is seeking a Senior Development Support Electrical Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams and resolve hardware issues during production and testing. The role demands hands-on troubleshooting from circuit card assembly to system level and proactive improvement actions.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in related roles, experience with Linux, C, MATLAB, Python, and a U.S. security clearance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum 5 years of related experience (design/production support/engineer).
- Experience analyzing technical data.
- Experience with schematic drawings to troubleshoot.
- Experience with standard engineering lab equipment.
- Active and transferable US Government security clearance; US citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware down to CCA/server level, including analog/digital/power circuits.
- Evaluate hardware issues and disposition failures promptly.
- Prioritize and implement improvement opportunities.
- Provide status updates to program leadership.
- Assist in developing test equipment and requirements.
- Travel up to 25% to Raytheon facilities, suppliers or customer sites.
