Job summary

PD Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Designer to design electrical and control systems for power generation and distribution. The role requires collaboration with Mechanical Designers to integrate controls, and familiarity with PLCs, generator controls, and HMIs.

The position involves designing electrical schematics, panel diagrams, and wiring layouts, with 2D CAD experience required and 3D CAD desirable.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year Electrical Engineering degree with 10+ years of hands-on experience OR a 2-year technical college degree with 15+ years of experience in electrical and controls design/drawing.
• Experience with 2D CAD (AutoCAD) and SolidWorks for schematics, wiring diagrams, and routing layouts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit and maintain electrical schematics, panel diagrams, cable assemblies, and wiring drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create, maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems.
• Source components based on customer requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering team and suppliers to develop products.
