Bowman Consulting in Herndon, VA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design efforts and manage projects. You will develop construction documents and oversee staff while coordinating with clients and AHJs to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes.

In this role you will mentor engineers, market capabilities to win work, and manage complex tasks and budgets. A PE license and LEED/EIT accreditation are preferred, with strong AutoCAD/REVIT skills required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• 5+ years in design of industrial, commercial, government or related projects.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT; SKM or lighting design tools beneficial.
• EIT and LEED accreditation requested; PE license strongly preferred.

Mansioni

• Design complex electrical systems per current codes and project type.
• Lead project teams and mentor design engineers and junior staff.
• Market Bowman capabilities to win new clients and strengthen relationships.
• Produce construction docs, basis of designs, and client communications.
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, and AHJs; manage budgets and schedules.
