Job summary

Bowman Consulting is seeking a Project Engineer, Electrical to join our Boston team. The role focuses on designing electrical systems for mission-critical facilities, developing construction documents, and coordinating with clients and staff to ensure timely project delivery.

The successful candidate will have a BS in electrical engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD/REVIT/SKM, and PE or EIT/LEED preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant industry-related experience in power infrastructure design for mission critical, laboratory and technically complex buildings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT software, SKM software tools, and/or Lighting Design software (i.e., AGI, Visual, etc.).
• EIT and LEED accreditation preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design complex electrical systems per current code and sound engineering principles.
• Oversee designs through project construction/completion.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, project manager, and client.
• Attend coordination and design meetings as needed.
• Address comments from clients, AHJs & other review authorities; adjust designs accordingly.
