Job summary

Bowman is seeking an Engineer IV, Electrical in Houston, TX to lead advanced electrical engineering efforts on complex projects. You will design, analyze, and deliver electrical systems, providing technical leadership within project teams, and mentoring junior engineers.

Experience with NEC, IEEE, and local codes is essential. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, interface with clients and regulatory agencies, and contribute to project planning, estimates, and QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry-related experience in electrical engineering design.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, SKM, and lighting design software (AGI/Visual).
• PE license strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced electrical engineering expertise for planning, design, and delivery of complex projects.
• Serve as technical leader, ensure quality and client satisfaction.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Review and approve electrical designs, calculations, and construction documents for compliance.
• Support project managers with technical input, risk identification, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines and interface with clients and regulators.
• Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets; assist in proposals and business development.
