Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Platform Organization in Costa Mesa, CA. You will own full-cycle PCB design for high-reliability defense hardware, focusing on propulsion and fuzing-related systems across multiple programs. You will collaborate with mechanical, thermal, software, and systems teams, perform rigorous design analyses, and lead design reviews.

A U.S. Secret clearance is preferred; DoD experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex PCB designs.
• Deep expertise in analog, digital, and power electronics.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer and circuit simulation tools.
• Experience with CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, USB, PCIe and MCU/FPGA architectures.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle PCB design for high-reliability defense hardware—from requirements to bring-up and validation.
• Architect and optimize circuit solutions for safety-critical aerospace applications.
• Perform design analyses: WCA, thermal, DFMEA, derating, signal/power integrity.
• Define test strategies and lead DVT, qualification, and functional testing.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and wire harness definitions.
• Collaborate across mechanical, thermal, software, systems, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Lead design reviews and provide technical feedback to shape decisions.
• Lead root-cause analysis for ground tests and field operations; drive corrective actions.
• Define vendor criteria and lead sourcing for critical electrical components.
• Mentor junior/mid engineers on design methodology and test approaches.
