Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Platform organization in Costa Mesa, CA. You will own full-cycle PCB design and drive safety-critical electronics for propulsion and fuzing systems, interfacing with vehicle development teams to ensure robust hardware for defense programs. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in defense/aerospace hardware, deep analog/digital/power expertise, and experience with Altium and LTSpice.

A U.S. Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex PCB designs.
• Deep expertise in analog, digital, and power electronics.
• Strong proficiency with Altium Designer and circuit simulation.
• Experience with design verification, DVT, and qualification campaigns.
• Familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, USB, PCIe interfaces.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle PCB design from schematics to bring-up and system integration.
• Architect and optimize circuit solutions for safety-critical aerospace/defense applications.
• Drive design analyses: worst-case, thermal, DFMEA, derating, SI/PI.
• Define test strategies and lead DVT, qualification and functional testing.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and wire harness definitions.
• Serve as technical authority across mechanical, software, systems, and manufacturing teams.
• Lead design reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Lead root-cause and failure analysis for ground tests and field operations.
• Define vendor criteria and lead sourcing for critical components.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on design methodology.
