Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical system design for multiple flight simulator programs. You will coordinate with electrical, mechanical, systems and software teams, ensuring designs meet requirements and safety standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and hands-on CAD work, with a focus on delivering reliable electrical solutions for high-fidelity simulators and complex hardware interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree.
• Must possess at least 5 years of electrical engineering experience or experience in a related industry.
• Must possess at least 5 years of systems integration experience.
• Knowledge of earned value management and its application to program execution.
• Experience with CAD software, preference to AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office toolset, Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical design and development leadership on a variety of simulator programs.
• Coordinate design activities with electrical, mechanical, systems and software engineering team members.
• Direct technical activities of large scale programs.
• Ensure designs meet customer, safety and program requirements.
• Provide technical support to suppliers and manufacturing.
