Job summary

CAE USA Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop and apply advanced electrical engineering methods for complex electro-mechanical systems.

You will lead design activities, ensure conformance to NFPA 70/IEC standards, and drive productivity improvements across the Electrical/Electronics group. The role requires 7+ years in related fields, a strong background in CAD and simulation, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• BSEE with 7+ years' experience in a related field; minimum of 4 years' experience in the simulation or aircraft industry.
• Working knowledge of Electrical design processes and CAD applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of problems.
• Must have a sound understanding of electrical circuitry.

Responsibilities

• Develops and applies advanced electrical engineering design methods, CAD tools, theories and leadership skills.
• Responsible for process, tool, and productivity improvements in the Electrical/Electronic area.
• Plan, coordinate and implement design activities to meet project goals.
• Coordinate activities with lead/peer engineers to optimize efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Travel CONUS/OCONUS as required.
