Henderson's Electrical Services seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer/Designer to guide complex building electrical systems for mission-critical/data center projects. You will lead from concept to completion, oversee design documents, and provide technical leadership across teams.

The role requires 12+ years of experience, PE preferred for EOR roles, and comfort with Revit/Bluebeam. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating with project teams, and contributing to business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, fire protection, or architectural engineering.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred; required for EORs.
• Additional technical certifications (e.g., RCDD, NICET, CPD, LEED, WELL) highly preferred.
• Advanced to expert proficiency in electrical engineering design, applicable codes and standards, Revit, Bluebeam, and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design from concept through completion for complex or large-scale projects.
• Direct or oversee the preparation of design documents, system layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Develop solutions to advanced and highly complex engineering problems, providing discipline-wide technical guidance.
• Serve as a mentor and coach across teams and practices, supervising less experienced designers and engineers.
• Participate in staffing recommendations, training initiatives, and technical strategy development.
• Provide quality oversight, including final quality reviews to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
• Communicate with clients, resolve conflicts, and provide leadership in responding to design challenges.
• Lead or support strategic business development efforts and maintain key client relationships.
• Serve as Engineer of Record when assigned, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to standards.
