Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Oklahoma City to lead design for mission-critical facilities and data centers. The role emphasizes power distribution, UPS, standby power, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable electrical infrastructure.

You will mentor junior engineers, review designs and calculations, and ensure adherence to NEC, IEEE, and NFPA standards throughout project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of experience.
• Experience designing or supporting data center or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution and critical power infrastructure.
• Experience with UPS, generators, switchgear, switchboards, PDUs, and related systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM or ETAP, and NEC codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for data center and mission-critical projects.
• Develop electrical system designs, calculations, and construction docs.
• Design and analyze MV/LV power distribution systems.
• Support UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, and related infrastructure.
• Perform load studies and short-circuit/coordination analyses.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Conduct site visits, commissioning support, and QA.
• Ensure NEC/IEEE/NFPA compliance and industry best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Participate in client meetings as a technical resource.
