Job summary

Ada Infrastructure seeks a Senior Associate, Data Center Electrical Engineering (North America) to develop and implement electrical design strategies for data center projects across North America. You will ensure electrical systems meet safety, reliability, and speed-to-market goals, working with internal teams and consultants on coordinated designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with HV/MV/LV substations, UPS and backup power.
• Strong analytical and technical communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support development of electrical design strategies for North America data center projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure fully integrated electrical designs.
• Review electrical system designs for compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with utilities and project teams on interconnection and substation design coordination.
• Assist in preparation of technical responses for customer RFPs and solution development.
• Contribute to selection of electrical equipment and vendor solutions.
• Coordinate with construction and operations teams to support commissioning and long-term operations.
• Identify risks and mitigate design, constructability, and schedule risks.
• Stay informed on advances in electrical engineering and data center tech.
