Job summary
FläktGroup seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to own electrical design of data center cooling equipment from concept to production release and field commissioning. You will develop UL 508A compliant control panels and complete schematic packages using EPLAN Electric P8 and AutoCAD Electrical.
You will perform NEC calculations, support standardization, and collaborate with manufacturing, global engineering, and hyperscale customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
- 8+ years of electrical design experience in industrial equipment, HVAC, or mission-critical infrastructure.
- Expert-level proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 and AutoCAD Electrical.
- UL 508A panel design ownership with SCCR calculations.
- Willingness to travel 25-30% (domestic and international).
Responsibilities
- Develop complete electrical schematic packages and control panel designs.
- Ensure UL 508A compliance, panel layouts, and wiring practices.
- Create and manage EPLAN master data and standard packages for reuse.
- Perform NEC-based calculations (FLA, MCA, MOP, voltage drop).
- Support FAT/SAT, vendor reviews, and field issue disposition.
