Job summary

Fluor Corporation is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer to provide essential engineering knowledge and lead discipline activities on complex projects in the Advanced Technology & Life Sciences division.

The role requires directing design work, developing specifications, and coordinating with other engineering teams to deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions for data centers, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications

Accredited four-year degree in engineering and 10+ years of related experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors and visitors.
Professional registration and/or membership in a technical society (preferred).
Knowledge of NEC and HV/MV distribution; experience with electrical design deliverables.

Responsibilities

Develop and review specifications and design criteria.
Lead electrical design on projects and coordinate with other disciplines.
Prepare and review construction deliverables such as single-line diagrams and power plans.
Mentor junior engineers and support project setup, scheduling, and progress reporting.
Support procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
