Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a small, collaborative engineering team focused on copper Ethernet cabling systems and hybrid fiber/copper solutions. The role covers concept, analysis, testing, documentation and field support, with a broad technical scope and hands-on lab as well as office work.

The successful candidate will contribute across the full product lifecycle, including modeling, testing to industry standards, and cross-functional collaboration with suppliers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3–5+ years of relevant engineering experience is expected.
• Foundation in circuit analysis, electromagnetics and signal integrity, AC/DC power fundamentals, RF principles.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis and validation of copper Ethernet cabling systems and related power delivery.
• Contribute to development and evaluation of hybrid fiber/copper solutions and power delivery considerations.
• Assist with electrical modeling, simulation and lab measurements of cables and system performance.
• Participate in failure analysis and root-cause investigations of electrical and SI issues.
• Conduct and document laboratory testing (electrical, thermal, environmental, EMC).
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings, reports and participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, quality and compliance teams.
