Job summary

Prysmian invites a Senior Application Engineer to join our team in the United States. You will review customer drawings, create BOMs, and collaborate with Sales, Product Mgmt, Manufacturing, and Service to deliver technically sound cable system solutions.

You will support ECN processes, liaise between customers and production, and drive portfolio updates and Design-to-Cost initiatives for competitiveness and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Experience interpreting drawings, specs, and docs.
• Experience with wire/cable products or harness assemblies.
• Familiarity with ERP/PLM systems and BOM management.
• Customer-facing technical support experience.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings/specs/docs to develop new products meeting requirements.
• Create and maintain BOMs for quotes and production releases.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Mgmt, Manufacturing, and Customer Service.
• Support ECN processes: review, document, implement changes.
• Serve as technical liaison between customers and manufacturing.
• Maintain and improve product portfolios with updates and support.
• Participate in Design-to-Cost initiatives to boost competitiveness.
• Contribute to simplification, sustainability and continuous improvement.
• Analyze requirements and align with Prysmian capabilities.
• Support product launches with docs, setup, and manufacturing actions.
