Job summary

Quantam seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a small, collaborative team working on copper Ethernet cabling systems and hybrid fiber/copper solutions. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle from concept to field support, acting as a technical generalist with depth in electrical engineering fundamentals.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, electrical modeling, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-moving development environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5+ years engineering experience with hardware development.
• Experience in circuit analysis, signal integrity and power fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis, and validation of copper Ethernet cabling systems (impedance, loss, crosstalk).
• Contribute to hybrid fiber/power systems development and integration.
• Assist electrical modeling, simulation, and lab measurements of cables and systems.
• Participate in failure analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Conduct testing per industry standards (TIA, IEEE, IEC, NEC).
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and compliance teams.
