Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking a principal Electrical Engineer to lead large-scale electrical design across capital projects and facility upgrades, reporting to the Director of Electrical Engineering. The role emphasizes HV/MV/LV systems, coordination studies, and standardization of design practices.

Ideal candidates will deliver multi-project results, mentor junior engineers, and promote safe, compliant designs across a network with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years engineering experience.
• Experience with HV/MV/LV distribution systems in large facilities.
• Proficient in One Line/Three Line Diagrams, DC control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with protective relaying schemes; SEL experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in CAD/AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM Powertools, SEL Acselerator.
• Strong written and oral communication; able to develop work packages and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop/review/approve electrical system designs.
• Coordinate with AE firms, suppliers and contractors.
• Plan tasks to meet budget and schedule constraints.
• Serve as SME for capital programs and mentor junior staff.
• Support commissioning and startup activities for projects.
