Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Electrical Designer/Engineer in Austin, TX to lead and support electrical design across a diverse portfolio of building projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver code-compliant solutions from concept through construction.

This role offers ownership of design elements, growth into leadership, and a focus on technical excellence, coordination, and successful project delivery in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• PE license required or ability to obtain licensure, Texas licensure a plus.
• Strong ability to integrate electrical design elements with other disciplines.
• Solid knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
• Deep understanding of power distribution and lighting systems for building design.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design on multiple projects of varying complexity.
• Interpret drawings, codes, and standards to inform design solutions.
• Perform calculations and design building electrical systems including lighting, photometrics, and power distribution.
