WSP is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for our Boston, MA office. You will provide high‑level technical guidance on electrical systems for healthcare, life science, industrial and commercial projects, including lighting, controls, and fire alarm systems.

You will collaborate with owners, architects and project teams, supervise junior engineers, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Post-education engineering experience in electrical systems design for healthcare, industrial, pharmaceutical, commercial, or institutional facilities.
• PE license preferred; strong knowledge of electrical building design and codes.

Responsabilités

• Develop drawings and specifications for electrical systems including lighting, controls, fire alarm and power distribution.
• Coordinate design activities with multi-discipline teams and clients.
• Lead design of electrical power, emergency power, lighting, and life safety systems.
• Contribute to project management, scheduling, load calculations and site meetings.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with safety policies.
