Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Greenville, TX, seeks a Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will create wiring diagrams, circuit breaker and control panels, and lead a team of 2–5 entry-level engineers through projects from concept to integration.

The role requires collaboration with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing and Production, travel to flight lines, and adherence to L3Harris processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of related experience, or graduate degree with 4+ years.
Willingness to travel to flight lines and work in hangar environments.
Experience leading a small team of 2–5 engineers.

Responsibilities

Create and review system wiring diagrams and panels using CAD tools.
Coordinate design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to meet requirements at minimum cost.
Lead a small team of electrical design engineers, providing drawing status and budgets.
Train and mentor junior engineers.
Learn and apply L3Harris Technical Process Specifications.
Travel to flight lines and work in aircraft hangar environments.
