Job summary

L3HHCM20 is seeking a Sr. Associate, Electrical Engineer (Instrumentation Engineer Aircraft Systems) for on-site work in Greenville, TX.

You will design instrumentation architectures, select sensors, and oversee data acquisition for component tests, system integration lab tests, and aircraft ground/flight tests. You will work across environmental control, hydraulic, avionics, flight control, and power systems, perform calibration, data reduction, and collaborate with multiple engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with two years of instrumentation systems development experience.
• Graduate Degree with zero years of experience in instrumentation systems development.
• In lieu of a degree, at least six years of instrumentation systems development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop instrumentation system architecture and document final configurations.
• Assemble physical instrumentation systems and ensure proper function and calibration.
• Implement and operate instrumentation systems; retrieve data and perform data reduction.
• Provide test support on aircraft ground/flight tests; may involve onboard aircraft.
• Interface with other engineering disciplines to determine system requirements.
