Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Galley Inserts group. You will develop electrical and electronic projects, define interfaces with mechanical, software, and system engineers, and design hardware for 3‑phase power switching and sensor interfaces to meet product requirements.

The role involves collaboration with international teams, design reviews, testing, and ensuring airworthiness readiness for aerospace interiors equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience.
• Advanced degree preferred for higher responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and electronic projects to meet design requirements.
• Define electrical interfaces with system, software, and mechanical engineers.
• Design electrical hardware for 3-phase power switching and sensor interfaces.
• Create and review PCB layouts and schematics; perform testing to validate designs.
• Collaborate with domestic and international suppliers to meet requirements.
• Support production and supply chain in component selection and obsolescence strategies.
