Job summary

RTX is seeking a Digital Electrical Engineer II to design and develop CCAs and FPGA-based solutions for mission-critical applications at its Tewksbury, MA site. You will architect digital systems, model algorithms, and work with hardware in a cross-functional team across product lifecycle.

Responsibilities include schematic capture, testing with scopes and analyzers, and ensuring design integrity through production release.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in EE/CE or related STEM.
• Experience with digital electronics, circuit design/analysis, digital design, or HDL coding for configurable logic devices.
• Experience using test/equipment like scopes, logic analyzers, or DMMs for characterization and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop digital architecture and circuit card designs for CCAs and FPGA implementations.
• Model digital algorithms and partition design functions for embedded systems.
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, simulation, and contribute to layout and routing.
• Integrate and validate hardware designs in lab with advanced test instrumentation against requirements.
• Maintain design documentation, technical reports, and configuration management across product lifecycle.
• Support activities from customer requirements through formal production release.
