Job summary

Kaney Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop advanced electromechanical actuation systems for aerospace applications.

You will create robust high-rel electronic hardware, including analog and digital circuitry, mixed signal PCBs, and embedded control electronics, meeting stringent aerospace requirements. The role requires collaboration across electrical, mechanical, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of subsystems within safety-critical actuation products.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design for aerospace or high-reliability electromechanical systems.
  • Strong background in analog/digital circuit design and mixed-signal interfaces.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, analysis, and verification of electrical architectures for electro-mechanical actuation systems.
  • Develop analog and digital schematics for control electronics, sensor interfaces, and motor-drive circuitry.
  • Own PCB design and layout from concept through release, including component selection and DFM/DFT.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and software teams to ensure electrical-mechanical integration and EMC robustness.
  • Perform circuit analysis (signal integrity, noise, grounding, filtering, timing, thermal).
  • Support requirements development and traceability to DO-254/DO-160 and related standards.
