Job summary

ACTalent, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer to design, test, and troubleshoot advanced aerospace electrical systems supporting motion-control solutions. You will work across servo systems, motors, drives, power systems, and hardware/software integration.

You will create detailed drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications, and collaborate with mechanical engineers to streamline assembly and field support. This remote role involves travel and contract-based engagement.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical hardware and hardware/software integration.
• Experience with industrial controls and PLCs.
• Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling or control development.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical engineering principles to design components for aerospace test and motion-control products.
• Create wiring diagrams and component specifications to define design intent.
• Develop system integration documentation, user manuals, and support materials for installation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure ease of assembly and troubleshooting.
• Review SOWs and assess impact on system architecture and testing requirements.
• Develop and test procedures to verify compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Provide expert electrical support during system integration and field service.
• Prepare estimates for materials, labor, and scheduling.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance in design and documentation.
