Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of HVAC/R tools and machines, focusing on new product introduction and improvements with latitude for unreviewed actions. Based in Eden Prairie, MN, this on-site role emphasizes leadership on major projects.

You will mentor engineers, drive production-ready docs, BOMs, and testing plans, and work with vendors to ensure specs meet requirements, guided by lean principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 6 years of progressively demanding experience in new product design.
• Understanding of the new product development process.
• Knowledge of lean principles.
• 3D CAD knowledge.
• Electrical: Experience with low voltage PCB assembly (PCBA).
• Electrical: Experience with circuit design.
• Electrical: Experience with electronic design automation software.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of tools and machines for HVAC/R markets.
• Evaluate project progress and results.
• Own project-level goals with milestones and tasks.
• Mentor Engineers I-III on projects.
• Provide technical leadership bringing concepts to production solutions.
• Design test plans and perform testing.
• Support production line with advanced troubleshooting.
• Develop product specifications for ideas.
• Coordinate with vendors on component specs.
• Prepare production documentation and BOMs in ECM.
• Interviews, onboarding, time approval and performance review of up to two direct reports.
