Job summary

Elyvex is seeking a senior lead engineer to guide the design of HVAC/R tools and accessory products from concept through production. You will oversee testing, documentation, vendor coordination, and mentoring of junior engineers while handling multiple priorities.

Ideal candidates combine a bachelor's degree in engineering with 8+ years of product design experience, strong communication, and leadership abilities, plus familiarity with 3D CAD, EDA, and Lean principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and eight years of progressive new product design experience.
• Knowledge of new product development, lean principles, 3D CAD, low-voltage PCBA, circuit design, and EDA software.
• Strong technical communication, organization, independence, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and projects from concept to production-ready design.
• Provide technical and production support throughout development.
• Oversee testing and documentation for all designs.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on parts and schedules.

Job description

Lead engineers and projects designing and developing HVAC/R tools, machines, and accessory products, from initial concepts through production-ready designs. Provide technical and production support, oversee testing and documentation, coordinate with vendors, mentor engineers, and manage up to two direct reports.

Requirements:

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, eight years of progressively demanding new product design experience, and knowledge of new product development, lean principles, 3D CAD, low-voltage PCBA, circuit design, and electronic design automation software. Candidates should also demonstrate technical communication, organization, independence, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities; Infor ERP, SolidWorks, EPA 608 certification, Bluetooth design, and HVAC sensor experience are preferred.
