Are you a passionate electrical engineer looking to drive cutting-edge energy solutions? We are seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead to spearhead the electrical aspects of design-build projects across various infrastructure and energy efficiency initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on MEP, renewable energy systems, battery energy storage, microgrids, and critical infrastructure upgrades, shaping the future of energy resilience and sustainability.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will design and implement customized energy solutions that enhance sustainability, efficiency, and resilience across diverse sectors, including hospitals, data centers, and government facilities. If you have strong technical expertise and a strategic mindset, this is an excellent opportunity to lead high-impact projects with nationwide influence.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of electrical systems, including MEP modernizations, central plant upgrades, and on-site renewable energy solutions.
• Provide technical oversight and strategic guidance for project development, ensuring innovative and cost-effective solutions.
• Oversee third-party engineering consultants to ensure high-quality construction documents and project execution.
• Assist in lifecycle costing and feasibility analysis to optimize client investment strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design, construction, and operational strategies for energy infrastructure projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical and professional development.
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities in photovoltaics (PV), battery storage, and microgrid solutions. No previous experience required, training will be provided on this area.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (PE license required)
• 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, energy systems, and infrastructure modernization
• Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and building codes
• Experience with energy efficiency design engineering, including technical analysis and reporting
• Passion for sustainability, energy efficiency, and alternative energy solutions

Advantageous, but not essential

• Experience in renewable energy, microgrids, energy storage, and electrical distribution
• In-depth understanding of the financial, technical, and regulatory landscape of the energy industry
