Job summary

Thor is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Dallas, TX. This role involves supporting the design and delivery of their data center portfolio, developing robust electrical solutions while ensuring collaboration across engineering, construction, and operations.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of engineering experience, a degree in electrical engineering, and a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems. Tools familiarity with AutoCAD, CFD, and Revit is highly beneficial.

Overview

Senior Electrical Engineer required by a leading data center developer, owner & operator. This position is onsite in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Support design and delivery of data center portfolio
• Develop reliable and efficient electrical solutions across cooling, power and systems
• Cross functional team collaboration, including engineering, construction, operations, controls and other internal and external stakeholders
• Project coordination
• Ensure design reviews meet company standards

Qualifications

• Experience with Data center or other critical facilities
• 5+ years of engineering experience
• Strong technical fundamentals in electrical engineering
• Ability to collaborate across design, operations and construction teams
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred
• Develop and coordinate designs across electrical systems (PDUs, switchgear, UPS etc)
• Broad understanding of mechanical systems
• Electrical Engineering degree
• Tools such as AutoCAD, CFD, Revit, or similar
