POSITION OVERVIEW

Dormakaba/Alvarado is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer based in our Chino, CA facility. The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing the electrical segment of our new products and participating with and assisting firmware developers. The Senior Electrical Engineer will provide sustaining engineering for existing products and will periodically provide support to the production and technical product support teams.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $130,000 - $165,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop a thorough competence with respect to existing products, design wire routings and wire harnesses
• Design Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout, testing, and test fixtures
• Design system tests and processes, perform testing
• Produce and update product system documentation, drawings and specifications and periodically write engineering bulletins and technical documentation
• Prepare and submit documentation for testing agency approval

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years relevant electrical engineering experience

WHAT WE PREFER

• Professional Engineer license
• Experience with writing code
