Job summary

The role involves cross-functional collaboration with EPCs, consultants, contractors, and utilities, covering the full project lifecycle from development to delivery, rather than drawing production.

Job description

I'm working with a well-established owner/developer that's investing heavily in some of the largest energy infrastructure projects currently being delivered across North America.

They're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership on complex projects involving utility-scale generation, substations, grid integration and emerging large-load applications.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your day producing drawings.

Instead, you'll work across the full project lifecycle, partnering with internal stakeholders, engineering consultants, contractors and utilities to help shape major infrastructure projects from early development through delivery.

What you'll be involved in:

• Providing technical direction across large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.
• Reviewing engineering solutions and influencing key technical decisions.
• Working alongside EPCs, consultants and utility partners to deliver complex programmes.
• Supporting projects through planning, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve technically challenging problems.

We're keen to hear from engineers with experience in areas such as:

• Transmission & Distribution
• HV substations
• Grid interconnections
• Owner's Engineering

Experience working on mission-critical infrastructure or other large industrial power projects would also be of interest.

You’ll likely be someone who enjoys taking ownership of technically challenging projects, is comfortable working across multiple engineering disciplines, and can confidently engage with consultants, contractors, utilities and project stakeholders.
