Lead / Principal Electrical Engineer | Power & Critical Infrastructure
Austin, TX | $180k–$240k base + bonus | Principal / Lead level
I'm working with a major energy organization expanding its electrical engineering capability in Austin, and I'm interested in speaking with experienced electrical engineers who have led complex, large-scale power infrastructure.
This isn't a narrow design role.
We're looking for engineers capable of taking technical ownership of major electrical systems and projects, working across engineering, development, construction and operations and providing leadership to internal teams, consultants, EPCs and other delivery partners.
Your background could come from:
The common denominator is experience working with large, complex electrical infrastructure and the ability to operate beyond an individual contributor design function.
Depending on your background, that could include:
We're particularly interested in engineers who've reached Senior, Lead, Principal, Engineering Manager or equivalent level and want meaningful technical ownership rather than simply producing drawings.
A PE is highly desirable, but I'm equally interested in speaking with people whose project experience speaks for itself.
The broader team is working on some seriously interesting challenges around how large-scale generation, grid infrastructure and high-demand customers come together, including the electrical infrastructure required to support data centers.
Compensation: Typically $180k–$230k+ base depending on level and experience, plus bonus and benefits.
Location: Austin, TX ideally. Open to remote.
If your background sits somewhere across power generation, T&D, substations, renewables, BESS, grid interconnection or data center power, I'd be interested in hearing from you.
