The ideal candidate has 5+ years of industry experience, a strong background in EMI/EMC, power and signal integrity, and a track record of technical leadership and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience across full product design lifecycle.
• PCB design and schematic capture.
• Experience with FPGA and microprocessors.
• Knowledge of interfaces: SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS-485, Ethernet, PCIe, etc.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI, CE Marking, sensors, power management, and signal/power integrity.
• RF/L-band design knowledge bonus.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring.
• Experience in Satellite/Space/Wireless/SATCOM/Aerospace/Defence.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design across the full product lifecycle for Satellite/Space products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FPGA/embedded/RF teams.
• Document hardware designs and provide technical leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide design reviews.

An exciting Global leading engineering company located in Arizona (USA) specializing in the industries of Satellite and Space are now hiring a brand-new Senior Electrical Engineer to join the team and business during an exciting period of growth. The ideal Electrical Engineer would be Senior/Staff level, and company is looking for this person to be a technical lead on projects, be the go-to guy for anything hardware related. The Senior/Staff Electrical Engineer will be working very cross functionally with FPGA/embedded/RF/etc.

Annual Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per annum

The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior Electrical Engineer is $150,000 - $180,000 per annum. The Senior Electrical Engineer will need to be a USA Citizen.

Summary of the Electrical Engineering Role:

The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will take lead in the design, development, and documentation of hardware designs across the full product design Lifecyle for next generation Satellite and Space products and technologies.

Senior Electrical Engineer Key Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent
• 5+ years of industry experience
• Experienced in the full product design lifecycle
• PCB Design & Schematic Capture
• Experience using Altium, OrCAD, Cadence, Allegro
• Designs that integrate FPGAs and microprocessors
• Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, DDR, LPDDR, Flash, eMMC, PCIe, MIPI, SerDes interfaces, ADCs, DACs
• Circuit Simulation tools - LTSpice or PSpice
• Board bring up and debugging - SIPI analysis and Power distribution
• Experience with EMC/EMI, CE Marking, sensors, power management, and signal/power integrity
• Knowledge of RF/ L-band design and layout - Bonus
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills
• Industry experience – Satellite, Space, Wireless technologies, SATCOM, Aerospace, Defence
