Job summary

CEG Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Energy Engineer to lead electrical design for large-scale, life-cycle-cost-focused projects in the built environment. You will drive energy sustainability initiatives, including renewable energy, energy storage, microgrids, and central plant upgrades, supporting hospitals, data centers, and other mission-critical facilities across the United States.

You will mentor a multidisciplinary team, manage design across concept, design, and construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering and energy systems.
• Strong understanding of National Electric Code (NEC) and building codes.
• Experience with energy efficiency design engineering, including technical analysis and writing.
• Passion for energy efficiency, alternative energy, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver electrical solutions for major infrastructure, including MEP modernizations, central plant upgrades, on-site energy generation, energy efficiency initiatives, and resiliency improvements.
• Oversee third-party consultants to achieve high-quality construction documents and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers, sharing knowledge on design principles and project execution.
