CMTA is seeking a Senior Electrical Designer in Lexington, KY to lead electrical design on construction drawings and documents, ensuring plans meet codes and client expectations. The role requires coordinating with the electrical team and other disciplines to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of design experience, an associate degree in electrical design drafting or related field, and familiarity with NEC/energy codes; lighting certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical Design drafting or related field (preferred).
• 7+ years of design experience.
• Lighting Certification preferred.
• Familiar with NEC, IVC, NFPA101, and energy codes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure electrical design documents are produced accurately and completely.
• Complete interior and exterior lighting design aspects.
• Design electronic communication and safety systems.
