Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical design experience on construction drawings.
• Familiar with NEC, IVC, NFPA101, and energy codes.
• Lighting certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work outside normal business hours when deadlines require.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate electrical design documents for construction drawings.
• Coordinate interior and exterior lighting designs with client preferences.
• Design electronic communication and safety/security systems.
• Calculate electrical loads and size equipment.
• Participate in construction meetings and on-site visits.
• Collaborate with architects and other disciplines to ensure project success.
• Address conflicts and find effective solutions.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
